IT’S been an interesting week! After our podium in Curitiba we headed for Rio de Janeiro.


.....Copacabana Beach to be exact. What a place to train!.... I felt like Matt Damon in the Bourne Identity..... but I was trying to evade pick pockets, petty thieves and not so petty ones! ... I’d have preferred the American government!



We visited the famous Statue Of  Christ The Redeemer that overlooks Rio and then took the cable car to Sugarloaf Mountain at the mouth of Guanabara Bay. 

We have now moved on to Iguazu Falls on the Brazil/Argentine border .... AMAZING!!!!

Taller than Niagara and  twice as wide!...

But we were not just looking, we paid to go under the falls in a rib boat and then white water rafting down from them. Mega!!

Anyway must dash as the bus is waiting for me!!!
