Guy will step up preparations for Rally Internacional de Curitiba (4-6 March) with a two-day gravel test this weekend.
The Skoda UK Motorsport driver has used the break since Monte Carlo to pore over TV coverage of the Brazilian stages from last year - and condition his body for the 85°F heat.
Guy said: “Training has been my main goal and I’ve been working hard preparing for the heat by training indoors aerobically and having plenty of saunas.
“I’ve also been watching footage of last year’s stages to get a good insight to the terrain and flow of the stages.
“We fly out to Sardinia on Friday for a two-day test so it’s important we have a good idea of the rally beforehand.
“I’m itching to get back in the Fabia - it’s always good to get seat time.”
Guy also welcomed the influx of drivers due to join the IRC ranks including Nasser Al-Attiyah, Andreas Mikkelsen and Martin Prokop.
He said: “There’s a real buzz about the IRC and it's fantastic news for everyone to see more good competition arriving.
“It makes winning all the more satisfying for any competitor when you have lots of good competition.”
