GUY and Phil were third quickest on Rally Argentina’s opening stage through the streets of Carlos Paz tonight. A sell-out crowd of 12,000 watched the IRC stars in action.
Kris Meeke (Peugeot UK) won the rain-hit 4km stage in 2mins 32.8 secs - 1.4 seconds ahead of Portugal’s Bruno Magalhaes (Peugeot).
Guy was third in the Skoda UK Motorsport Fabia S2000 in 2mins 35 secs.
He told guywilks.com: “It was very slippery in places. We enjoyed it but we knew we could have lost a lot of time to anybody here.”
