GUY has forged a successful partnership with co-driver Phil Pugh over the last six years and is always quick to praise him as the 'unsung hero'. Here we take a closer look at Phil and the master mechanics who prepare and repair the rally cars.

PHIL PUGH - Welshman Pughy (pictured left) joined Guy for the 2003 Junior World Rally Championship and has been by his side ever since. He also runs his own electrical contracting business.

ADR MOTORSPORT

Mitsubishi Motors UK has entrusted ADR Motorsport with its British Rally Championship campaign for the past four seasons. Based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, ADR builds and prepares the works Mitsubishi Evo IX rally cars and provides the on-event mechanics and technical support. The team - overseen by Ralliart General Manager and MMUK motorsport boss Paul Brigden - clinched the British Drivers championship and the British Teams championship in 2007.
 

J.A.S. MOTORSPORT

Guy is delighted to join J.A.S. Motorsport for selected world rallies in the Honda Civic Type R R3 rally car for 2008. The highly-respected Italian team - the official partner of Honda in Touring Cars since 1998 - scored two class A7 victories in the 2007 World Rally Championship and five class A7 victories in the 2007 Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC). The front-wheel drive Civic, built to the new R class regulations, is powered by a 260hp engine built by Mugen, Honda's renowned tuning partner.
